SINGAPORE -- Panuphol Pittayarat of Thailand birdied two of his last three holes to maintain a one-stroke lead after the second round of The Championship at Laguna National on Friday. Panuphol, the overnight leader, shot a 4-under 68 for a two-round total of 13-under 131, a stroke ahead of Scott Hend of Australia, David Lipsky of the United States, and Felipe Aguilar of Chile in a tie for second place. The Thai, ranked 451st in the world, has never won on the European Tour and missed his last three cuts this year on the Asian Tour. "The two birdies in my last three holes were nice to end off my round," he said. "Its nice to be putting myself in a good position heading into the last two rounds. I would rather stay up there than to be chasing the lead actually. I just want to grab my chance and not let it go." Hend had eight birdies and just one bogey to shoot a 7-under 65, the low round of the day. The Australian, whos also looking for his first European Tour title, said it was difficult to stay focused in the hot, humid conditions at Singapores Laguna National golf course. "I am used to this kind of weather but it still comes to a point where your body just cannot take it and it makes you lose concentration," he said. "Im managing well so far. Two more rounds to go and we will see what happens." Aguilar, playing with a sore wrist after a recent mountain biking accident, birdied his last three holes to card a 67. "(The wrist) doesnt bother me much, but I still have pain. It will be there for the next four or five months," he said. "Everything you do is dangerous so you have to be careful, but Im playing good golf because Im happy, and so the mountain biking helps." Anders Hansen is also returning from a wrist injury that required surgery and kept him off the tour for six months last year. He missed the cut at his first two events this year, but finished in a tie for fifth last week at the China Open. The Danish golfer shot a 66 on Friday to move into a share of fifth place at 11 under, two strokes off the pace. He dropped a stroke on his final hole when he three-putted for bogey. "Its always hard coming back after an injury," he said. "Ive never had six months off before so I didnt know what to expect. It was tough the first four rounds I played, the first two in Spain and Malaysia, but then last week something kicked in and it has carried on this week." Authentic Joe Dahl Jersey . Lets make one thing clear: The Ottawa Senators acquired Ben Bishop from the St. Louis Blues for one reason and one reason alone. CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Green didnt practice on Wednesday because of an injured big toe on his right foot, limited to walking around the practice field in sweats holding a football. The Bengals havent ruled him out for Sunday against Tennessee (1-1) at Paul Brown Stadium. They could sit him for the game, giving him an additional week to heal heading into Cincinnatis bye. Also on Wednesday, the Bengals said that Pro Bowl linebacker Vontaze Burfict had more concussion symptoms, leaving his availability for the game in doubt. Burfict had a concussion during an opening 23-16 victory in Baltimore, but was back for a game last Sunday against Atlanta. Burfict came out of the 24-10 win after a teammates knee hit his helmet. He initially complained of symptoms that indicated a pinched nerve in his neck. He also was showing concussion symptoms on Wednesday. Cincinnati (2-0) could be without its top players on offence and defence this week, although Green hasnt yet given up on his chances of playing. "Its getting better," Green said, after getting treatment on Wednesday. "Anytime Im not on the field, I feel like Im letting my teammates down. Even though we came out with the win, I still feel bad. But its something I cant control. Im just trying my best to get back." Green said he hurt the foot during the win in Baltimore. He played the full game and made a decisive 77-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. The foot bothered him last wweek, limiting him in practice.dddddddddddd. He decided to see if he could play Sunday against the Falcons, but came off the field during the first drive. "I knew it was still a little tender, but I thought I could make it through," said Green, who talked to the media about the injury for the first time on Wednesday. "But I couldnt get my full extension on my foot and I need that to run my routes. I didnt want to go out there and hurt myself even more." It was the first time in his career that he failed to catch a pass in a game. Green said the biggest problem is his inability to push off with the foot as he runs his routes. "I do everything off my foot," he said. "Its just getting the range of motion back on that big toe. Thats the biggest thing, because Im always on that." The Bengals are one of seven undefeated teams despite losing several key players. Receiver Marvin Jones broke a bone in his left foot during training camp and is expected back in a few weeks. Tight end Tyler Eifert hurt his right elbow in Baltimore and will miss at least half the season. In addition to Green and Burfict, the Bengals had tight end Alex Smith (biceps) and guard Kevin Zeitler (right calf) get hurt on Sunday. Smith went on injured reserve. Zeitler is wearing a boot and walking on crutches. Backup guard Mike Pollak missed practice on Wednesday with a sore knee. Left tackle Andrew Whitworth rested a sore knee. ' ' '
